Limited One-Year Warranty

Manufacturer's Limited Warranty

Modbox (the "Manufacturer") warrants to the original retail purchaser (the "Owner") of this Modular Home (the "Product") that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship attributable to the Manufacturer's manufacturing and assembly for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail delivery (the "Warranty Period"). Any preinstalled appliances are covered under this warranty during the first year.

What is Covered

During the Warranty Period, the Manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace any defective parts or components resulting from defects in materials or workmanship supplied by and attributable to the Manufacturer. This includes labor costs associated with such repairs when performed by an authorized service provider.

What is Not Covered (Exclusions)

• Normal wear and tear, maintenance, or adjustments.
• Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, overload, alteration, or improper installation/setup.
• Damage from environmental conditions, weather, acts of God, or exposure to elements.
• Components and appliances manufactured by third parties that did not come preinstalled in the home.
• Cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, fading, or surface imperfections not affecting functionality.
• Transportation costs, towing, lodging, or incidental expenses.
• Any Product used for commercial, rental, or business purposes.
• Defects or damage arising after the Warranty Period or from failure to perform routine maintenance.

Owner's Responsibilities

• Properly maintain the Product according to the owner's manual.
• Promptly notify the Manufacturer or an authorized dealer in writing of any suspected defect within the Warranty Period.
• Deliver the Product to an authorized service location for inspection and repair at the Owner's expense.

Remedy

The Manufacturer's sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace defective parts. The Manufacturer is not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHICH ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of certain damages, so the above may not apply to you.

Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.

How to Make a Claim

Contact Unbound Nest via the Contact page as soon as possible upon discovery of a potential defect. Provide proof of purchase and details of the issue. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by jurisdiction.
